Date : 28 June 2022 Venue : Ramallah Palestine

The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) released the Jerusalem Statistical Yearbook 2022 in Arabic and English on 28 June 2022.

The Yearbook presents Jerusalem under occupation by covering different statistics on population, demographic reality, social status, geographic and economic. It also presents statistics about the violations of the occupying forces in Jerusalem, including settlements, the confiscation of land, demolished buildings and confiscated Jerusalemites ID's. PCBS noted the obstruction of data collection because of the obstacles and challenges posed by the existing conditions on the Palestinian society.

H.E. Dr. Ola Awad, President of the PCBS, stated that this publication will be an important reference source on statistical data on Jerusalem and will enhance the capacity of Palestinian planners, decision makers and researchers to bring about Palestinian sovereignty of Jerusalem.
