Training Course on 'Quality Frameworks and Measurement of Performance of Statistical Systems and Offices' in Tajikistan

In accordance with its 2015 Annual Work Plan, SESRIC organised the training course on 'Quality Frameworks and Measurement of Performance of Statistical Systems and Offices' at the Agency on Statistics under President of the Republic of Tajikistan (TAJSTAT) on 1-2 April 2015, within the framework of the Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme. The course was conducted by Mr. Gasim Aliyev, Expert at the State Statistical Committee (SSC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan with participation of relevant officials of TAJSTAT.

The training course on 'Quality Frameworks and Measurement of Performance of Statistical Systems and Offices' focused on the following topics:

  • ISO 9001: 2008
  • Policy and quality objectives
  • Coordination council on quality
  • The representative of the quality manual
  • Collection of documents on the quality management system
  • Importance of goals
  • Reports on the quality of statistical product
  • Internal audits in order to monitor the status of the application documents for quality management
  • The activity report on a quality management system in the SSC of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
  • Actual problems of quality management system implementation in the SSC of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
  • Development of metadata in the official statistics of Azerbaijan.
