SESRIC, in its capacity as the Secretariat of the OIC Statistical Commission (OIC-StatCom), will organize the 15th Session of the OIC-StatCom in collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group. The Session will be hosted by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah, on 29-30 September 2026.
The Session will review the activities undertaken since the previous session and facilitate deliberations on the following technical themes:

Since the adoption of the Istanbul Declaration in 2010, OIC countries have convened their annual meetings under the umbrella of the OIC-StatCom. As the Secretariat of the Commission, SESRIC continues to facilitate this important platform, which promotes the exchange of experiences, good practices, and technical expertise among the National Statistical Offices (NSOs) of OIC countries, with a view to supporting the development and implementation of more effective national statistical systems, strategies, and policies.
