The Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA) celebrated the Qatar Population Day under the theme "Five Years since the Implementation of Qatar's Second Population Policy 2017-2022” on 25 October 2022.

The celebration was organized by the Permanent Population Committee (PPC) of State of Qatar with the aims to clarify the methodology of evaluating the second population policy (2017-2022) and highlight the progress in achieving the goals, and raise awareness of population issues and their relationship with development.

In addition to the representatives of PSA and PPC of State of Qatar, ministries and bodies concerned with population and development issues, heads and members of working groups for the implementation of the population policy program of action, representatives of civil society institutions and bodies concerned with population issues and international organizations participated in the celebration.
