Within the framework of its Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme, SESRIC will organise a Training Course on “Quality Management in Statistical Processes” for the benefit of National Statistical Offices (NSOs) of the OIC countries on 11-12 June 2025 through an online video conferencing platform.

Ms. Ezatul Nisha Abdul Rahman, Senior Director of the Change Management Office, Ms. Rozita Misran, Director of the Methodology and Research Division, Mr. Wan Azhar Wan Mokhtar, Deputy Director of the Change Management Office, Ms. Zoraida Dahalan, Methodology and Research Division Officer and Mr. Azhari Ahmad, Methodology and Research Division Officer at Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), will conduct the training course.

The training course will cover the following topics:

• Overview of International Quality Frameworks
• DOSM’s Experience in Implementing the UN National Quality Assurance Framework (UN-NQAF) for Official Statistics
• Managing the Statistical System: Strengthening Malaysia’s National Statistical System
• Managing Statistical Processes and Statistical Quality Assessment: Malaysia's Adaptation
