 Within the framework of the 14th Session of the OIC Statistical Commission (OIC-StatCom), SESRIC, in collaboration with the Secretariat of the International Forum on TOSSD (IFT) and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), will organize a side event on “The First Five Years of TOSSD: Tracking Support for the SDGs and Helping Monitor International Development Co-operation in All Its Forms” on 1 October 2025 at SESRIC Headquarters in Ankara, Türkiye.
The side event aims to present the latest developments in the framework of Total Official Support for Sustainable Development (TOSSD), an international standard for measuring the full array of resources to promote the sustainable development of developing countries. It will provide insights on how TOSSD can help close data gaps on sustainable development finance and enhance transparency of support received and provided by OIC Member States.
The panel will include exchanges on the role of TOSSD in monitoring international development co-operation, showcasing practical experiences from OIC Member States, SESRIC, the IsDB, and the IFT Secretariat. The discussion will also underscore how TOSSD captures emerging forms of collaboration, including South-South and triangular co-operation.
